Report
Having rested nearly of the players from Friday’s epic Cup Final, the players selected for today’s game were outstanding. Two goals from Gary Tough and one from Jonathan Monaghan with assists from Jason Turnbull, Jonathan Monaghan and Kenny Pounder gave Hordn a comfortable 0-3 lead at half time.
Shotton managed to get a couple of goals but two goals from K Pounder, assisted by Martin Fowler and Ricky Ramsay finished off a comfortable end of season game.
A special mention for Lee Jackson who was appointed team captain for the day on what was to be his last appearance for the club. A great player and a true gentleman of the game.
